First of all, remember that you are not alone. There is a strong and growing network of people with CF, health professionals and care centers to help you and your baby. Thanks to this network — and to aggressive research and new therapies — people with CF are living longer and healthier lives.
As soon as possible, you should contact a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-accredited care center. The health care professionals at these centers will help you learn more about CF and plan the best ways to keep your baby healthy.

What is a CF care center?
A CF Foundation-accredited care center is a place where CF health care professionals care for people with CF. These centers work not only with individuals but also with other care centers, forming a national network of care centers to ensure that people with CF are being treated everywhere using the best practices and the most effective therapies.
In fact, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has cited the CF care center network as a model of effective and efficient health care delivery. For you and your baby, the health care professionals at your local care center will become your teammates in keeping your baby healthy.
