Volunteers are the key to our success, and we encourage you to get involved! Whether you join a committee and help get sponsors for an event, recruit companies to put together walk teams or volunteer time in our office, you help us achieve our mission—curing and controlling cystic fibrosis. Take a moment to see what a difference you can make by supporting events throughout the year. Together, we can continue adding tomorrows every day to the lives of people with CF!

Dad Sets Guinness World Record in Honor of Daughters with CF
Just when PNC Risk Management’s Edward “Lane” Hinnant thought his 2013 chapter on running was closed, the Guinness Book of World Records opened for him to start a new one — one dedicated to his daughters.
Hinnant, who works for PNC in Raleigh, N.C., recently became the world’s fastest man to complete a 5-kilometer race — on crutches. Hinnant dedicated the Dec. 14 race, held at the Wilson Triathlon Club’s Jingle Bell Run 5k in North Carolina, to raising awareness of cystic fibrosis, a lung and digestive condition that affects his two daughters.
