About the Event:

We challenge you... to go beyond ordinary expectations, to take steps toward a personal victory and to play an important role in the victory of others.

Join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as we climb our way to the top of the Wells Fargo Capitol Center in downtown Raleigh. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the Climb begins at 10:00 am. Climb at your own pace or race up the stairs against others. Once you reach the top, look out at the breathtaking panoramic views of downtown Raleigh. Then enjoy a celebration with food, drinks and entertainment at the survivors party.

Will you step up to the challenge?

How to Register:

Climbers can either join a team or participate as an individual. Climb teams come in all different forms: Public Safety (firefighters, police or military), Health & Fitness, Family/Friends and Corporate. Teams consist of at least 3 people.

Timed and non-timed divisions are available in each division.

To register for the CF Climb click the button on the right, or contact Colette Pond at 919-845-2155. Please make sure to have your credit card handy for your registration fee.

Registration Fee Schedule:
1/1/13-6/30/13: $25
7/1/13-7/31/13: $35
8/1/13-8/24/13: $45

Minimum Pledge: $100

Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum amount is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn great incentives. The average amount a participant raises is $330. Registration fees are non refundable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Fundraising is 100% tax deductable. Registration Fees are not tax deductible. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Team Leader Guide

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis (CF), only one person with CF may be invited. Also, individuals who have ever had a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia) complex shall not attend any Foundation events/meetings. These requirements are because CF germs can be passed between individuals who have CF. Some germs in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. CF germs are not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals.

Despite this policy, individuals with CF might choose to attend events or meetings without informing the CF Foundation or without the Foundation's knowledge. If so, they do so at their own risk. The Foundation accepts no responsibility for any risk to health involved in attendance, or in any social contact between persons with CF. For more information, please visit

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
