More than 30 local sports and media celebrities join our 300+ guests for this exclusive luncheon that includes a VIP Reception, Silent & Live Auctions, Celebrity Balloon sales & an After Party featuring the music of Fathead Davis. Celebrity Waiters has hosted such hometown heroes as Boomer Esiason, Nick Lachey, Pete Rose, Anthony Munoz, George Foster, Robert Jackson and more.
Over the past 22 years, Celebrity Waiters has raised more than $1.3 million for cystic fibrosis (CF) research and care programs. Today, those dollars are more important than ever as the CF Foundation funds Phase 3 Clinical Trials– the final phase before FDA approval– for oral drugs that have shown to correct the basic defect of the CF gene. This is the first time in the history of the disease that we have been able to treat the cause not just the symptoms. It is only through special events like Celebrity Waiters that the CF Foundation can continue this groundbreaking research.
