Join us for the 2013 Colorado Aptalis CF Cycle for Life® - Ride for 65 Roses presented by BJ's Restaurants. This event is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. There are three route options: 27, 44 and 70 miles. The 70 mile trek takes cyclists up Left Hand Canyon to the town of Ward, described as one of the top 100 climbs in the United States by Bicycling Magazine. You will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops stocked full of snacks to fuel the journey and plenty of fans to cheer you on. After you cross the finish line, you'll enjoy post event festivities full of food and fun to wind down with your fellow riders!

No matter what route you choose you'll enjoy a fun day on your bike and enjoy some of the most scenic and gorgeous terrain this side of the Rocky Mountains, all while riding for a great cause! Sign up today and take the Ride of Your Life! Click the Register button and get started.

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life® - Ride for 65 Roses presented by BJ's Restaurants. Bike helmets are required to ride.

*Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your minimum pledge requirement is tax deductable and must be turned in on or before the event date.

Wonder how you can get a new team together? Call Holly Bishop at the CFF Colorado Chapter 303-296-6610 to discuss getting your co-workers and friends to join you in the fun!

Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum amount is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn a jersey or other cycle rewards. The average amount a participant raises is $650. Registration fees are non refundable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Fundraising is 100% tax deductable. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

 B.CEPACIA AND INFECTION CONTROL POLICY
Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis (CF), individuals who have ever had a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia) complex shall not attend any Foundation events. These requirements are because CF germs can be passed between individuals who have CF. B. cepacia in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. CF germs are not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. At any outdoor event, people with CF should keep at least 6 feet away from others with CF.

Despite this policy, individuals with CF might choose to attend events without informing the CF Foundation or without the Foundation’s knowledge. If so, they do so at their own risk. The Foundation accepts no responsibility for any risk to health involved in attendance, or in any social contact between persons with CF. For more information, please visit
 www.cff.org.

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
