About the Event:
The 3rd annual Aptalis CF Cycle for Life is a one-day ride where hundreds of men and women will come together to participate in a GREAT event to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Participants will have four scenic route options to choose from: 25, 38, 65 or 100 miles. The ride is a fully supported journey with well-stocked rest stops every 12 miles, support and gear (SAG) vehicles, GREAT prizes and much more. This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure in a tangible, emotional and experientially powerful way. The Greater Cincinnati Chapter’s 2012 goal is to host 200 cyclists and raise over $50,000. With your help, we know we can make this a success!Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®. Bike helmets are required to ride.

How to Get Your Wheels In Motion:
Register today as a Cycle Team Leader or Individual Cyclist! To register as a cyclist, click on the registration tab on the right side of the page.

9/21 - 9/22 - $45
Minimum Pledge amount is $150.00.
** If you participated in Cycle For Life last year, please be sure to log in using your username and password first.
CF Cycle for Life is a pledge event. In addition to the registration fee we require all cyclists to raise a minimum funraising amount to participate in the ride. Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards your fundraising total. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.
If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.
TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
