We play Guitar Hero. And Mario Kart. And Wii Golf. And ... there'll be beer (and lots of food, too). So, yeah. Pretty much the coolest benefit ever. A full-on tournament style Guitar Hero competition will take center stage while other Wii games go on around it, for prizes or just good old-fashioned bragging rights.
And, so far, it's been a huge success. Through the generocity of our sponsors, event attendees and volunteers, last year's event raised $14,663 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
Join us this year as we try to top it.
Guitar Hero Tournament :: Qualify on one song pre-selected on Medium Level. The highest 8 scores of the night will qualify for a seeded tournament finals on the main big screen. Players will compete against each other in battle mode. Finals play will be on Hard Level. Come early to enter as many qualifying scores as possible. Or, if you're not feeling that serious, you can just come and rock out.
Wii Tiger Woods Golf Long Drive Contest :: Players will attempt to hit the longest drives of the night for prizes.
Wii Olympics 100 Meter Dash :: The fastest players of the night will win prizes.
Wii Mario Kart :: Prizes will be awarded to the fastest racers of the night on this very popular Wii game.
Oh, and those prizes we mentioned? We've got a new Wii with Guitar Hero Guitar for the tournament winner, plus stuff like restaurant gift cards, sports equipment, (really good) Phillies and Flyers tickets, signed sports memorabilia, and way way more.
