St. Patty's Green 5k

Start/Finish Line
The race will begin at the large pavilion located on the north end of the park near the baseball fields. The race will also conclude at the same location.

Parking
There are several parking lots that outline the park course. Overflow parking will be at the Saginaw Recreation Center located at 633 W. McLeroy Blvd. Saginaw, TX  76179. 

*Please note that online registration will close at midnight on Wednesday, March 6th and will reopen again the morning of the event.  Walk up participants are welcome and will need to arrive at 8:00 a.m. to ensure a proper start time. 

This is not your average 5k! Lace up your running shoes and join us for our inaugural “GREEN” themed St. Patty’s Day 5k. Dress in your best green gear and get in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. This event will be timed and certified by Cox Racing Services.

With every step you take you are helping in the fight to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Awards and other event details

There will be an awards ceremony following the run. We anticipate the ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. and it will be held at the large pavilion. Top male and female winners in each age group will be announced. There will also be an award for the best dressed St. Patty’s outfit.

Breakfast and snacks will be served before and after the run. The course is still being finalized by the timing company, but proves to be very flat. Stay tuned for updates to the course and other event details.
