Meet Savannah!
This vibrant, little 4 year old was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis shortly after birth.  She and her family have been through a lot over the past few years but have never wavered in their ongoing fight against CF.  The family has since formed a team for Savannah in the Schaumburg Great Strides annual walk, they attend Uncork the Cure in Naperville, play in the poker tournament at Casino Chicago, and Savannah’s dad, Kyle, is the co-chair of the Partners in Progress Annual Fund Campaign.  Their continued fundraising efforts help further CF research and care.

Recently, they received some very exciting news:  On April 19, Vertex Pharmaceuticals announced promising results of a potential CF therapy, which combined with the drug Kalydeco showed significant improvement in lung function in those with two copies of the CF mutation.  This is particularly thrilling for Savannah because she has two copies of this mutation.

Your contribution is what fuels advancing drug research for people with CF, like Savannah.  Click here to help give Savannah, and all people with cystic fibrosis, hope for the future.
