Team CF Superheroes

Event Overview

CF Superheroes

Put meaning into miles as a Team CF Superhero!

Help make a positive impact on the lives of the over 30,000 people living with cystic fibrosis by becoming a Team CF Superhero. Whether you are an expert fundraiser and want to learn to run a marathon or you are an avid runner and want to fundraise for the first time, we will be your support network every step of the way.

Reach your physical and philanthropic goals, while raising awareness and funds in pursuit of a cure for those living with this chronic disease. Look good, feel good, DO GOOD as a Team CF Superhero!

Choose from one of our santioned Team races below or select any endurance event and raise funds on your own. To explore runner benefits and learn about fundraising commitments, please view the runner agreement & race details PDF. Contact Amy Kozyra at or 312-236-4491 with questions.

Kick off the spring training season with our endurance happy hour! Meet and greet your fellow runners, cyclists, climbers & hikers on Thursday, May 1st at Sully's House in Chicago (1501 N Dayton St.) and pick up your training packet and jersey! One drink and light appetizers are included. Cash bar to follow. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Amy Kozyra at

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
