With so many events each year, the Heart of America Chapter relies heavily on the time and talent of our dedicated volunteers in fund-raising efforts. We need you! We are always looking for a fresh face with great ideas. Please consider:

Fund-raising
Think of the fund-raising possibilities right in your neighborhood and workplace. Contact our office at (913) 384-8997 to talk about the opportunities open to you.

Participate in an event
Whether you are the outdoors type, golf enthusiast, love a good night on the town, enjoy formal occasions, family-friendly events or all of the above, we have an event for you!

Serve on a committee
Our committees are the backbones of our events and we need you! This group of amazing people helps to recruit team leaders through business and family contacts, gets local businesses involved in our events through corporate sponsorships and rounding up donations for our live and silent auctions.

Volunteer on event day
Where would we be without our event volunteers? We are looking for people to help with our events in areas like registration, setting up, manning rest stops, selling raffle tickets and clean up, just to name a few.

Volunteer to help in the office
There are always things to do around the chapter office. We need lots of help with mailings, filing and other projects. A couple of hours, an afternoon or a whole day - whatever fits your schedule. We are happy to verify service hours for students or scouts or anyone who needs them.
