| What: Uncork for the Cure is a light and festive evening for friends to relax and enjoy savory varietals, specialty beers, and hors d’oeuvres in a unique atmosphere, the Audi Terminal Albrechtstrasse designed showroom at Cavender Audi. Who: Join friends of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Lone Star Chapter on Thursday July 22, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Uncork for the Cure event hosted by Rick Cavender and emceed by Tanji Patton from Good Taste with Tanji. Everyone from wine lovers to specialty beer enthusiasts will experience an evening of live music performed by Grammy Award winner Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz. Why: The Uncork for the Cure event is a creative way to raise funds to support ongoing research into finding a cure for CF, a genetic lung disease for which there is no cure that affects the lungs and digestive system. Since the discovery of the cystic fibrosis gene in 1989, scientific research supported by the Foundation has reached milestones on the road to finding a cure. Your generous support makes it possible to continue this momentum!

| “Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis (CF), individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals.
