Overview and Goal
The Young Professional Leadership Committee (YPLC) is an exclusive group of young professionals who are “rising stars” and can apply the success, leadership and passion they exude in their careers to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. They have the vision, commitment and means to inspire their peers to get involved in chapter activities and events as well as forging new business relationships.
Who are the Young Professionals?• Age range generally 20s and 30s 
• Careers across every industry including but not limited to:

What is the “job” description of YPLC Members?
• Make every reasonable effort to attend in-person meetings ( approx. 6-8 times a year)
• Participate in a minimum of 2 CFF events, including new “Scavenger Hunt Event” (Fall 2010) and Great Strides Walk (Spring 2010).
• Assist in planning event structure and logistics.
• Sell tickets and help secure sponsorship, inkind donations, etc.
• Put a walk team together for any one of the 5 Great Strides walks on Long Island.
