The Northshore's Finest
The Louisiana Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation presents The Northshore's Finest event -- now accepting Nominations/applications!

We are looking for the Northshore’s Finest

Across the country, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honors up-and-coming young professionals.  In this tradition, the Louisiana Chapter would like to introduce its newest fundraising event celebrating outstanding young professionals making a difference on the Northshore.

Tell us who you think qualifies! nomination/application form

Save the Date

The recognition gala will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010.  Chosen honorees will help raise funds for CF and be celebrated in the process.  Honorees will be featured in the July/August Issue of Inside Northside.

Funds raised by this event will be dedicated to supporting cystic fibrosis (CF) research and care. CF is a genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems of 30,000 children and young adults. Currently there is no cure for CF. Since 1955, when the CF Foundation was founded, the average life expectancy has drastically improved from 5 to 37 years old due to enhanced drugs and therapies. Recently, two drugs have been shown to cure CF on a genetic level. These drugs are still in clinical trials, but with additional funding researchers hope to make them available as soon at 2012.

For more information, please contact the Louisiana Chapter- Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at (504) 455-5194 or JDANIELS@CFF.ORG.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is currently accepting nominations for the best and brightest area Northshore residents between ages 25-40. We would like your help in identifying the 2010 honorees.
