About the Event:
Join us on September 8, 2012 as we take on the challenge of the infamous Western Wisconsin rolling hills during our 2nd Annual Aptalis CF Cycle For Life® ride, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
You’ll have your choice of two scenic rural routes.
The 25-mile route begins just outside of charming downtown Middleton, and takes you northwest through small towns and past historic barns surrounding the only Waunakee in the world. Heading back to Middleton, cyclists can enjoy the groomed landscape along the very popular Hwy 12 bike path.
Our 50-mile route provides some breath-taking scenery, along with the challenges provided by Wisconsin’s glacial topography. Enjoy the rugged hills just west of Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail as you cycle through the quaint towns of Cross Plains, Vermont and Springfield.
Each route provides well stocked rest stops, supported by volunteers, SAG vehicles, and much more!
Join this unique event which will empower participants to take action and demonstrate their support in the fight to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Together we will reach our $45,000 goal!
Registration Fees:

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
