The West Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation organizes events throughout the year to raise funds for CF research and care. We serve the CF community, which includes those with CF and their families, volunteers, and donors throughout the Mid-South area, including Memphis, Jackson, all of West Tennessee, and DeSoto County, MS.
Our chapter seeks to be a leader within the CF Foundation through active volunteer participation and sustained fund-raising success. In 2007, our chapter raised $450,000 to support vital cystic fibrosis programs. Our goal is to increase our annual CF fundraising to $1 million by 2010.
West TN Chapter volunteers plan, organize, and implement various fund-raising projects throughout the year. Our event calendar includes: formal and informal galas and dinners; six area fund-raising walks known as GREAT STRIDES; a golf tournament; the Great American Duck Race® for CF; and many other fun and wonderful activities.
