Welcome to the Metropolitan Washington, DC Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We conduct fundraising events in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and would welcome your involvement with open arms. Whether you join a committee and help get sponsors for an event, recruit companies to put together walk teams, or volunteer in our office, your involvement will help us achieve our mission -- curing and controlling cystic fibrosis. Calling D.C.'s Finest!
Mix and mingle with the Class of 2011 and other key leaders in the business community through this young professionals networking campaign. We plan to honor D.C.'s Finest '40 under 40', as the 'cream of the crop' in this community, who exemplify outstanding leadership qualities, are active in their volunteer roles and have excelled in the business world. Destination Dessert
This fall, some fun and generous people will host social gatherings – from backyard barbecues for 10 to formal dinners for 30+. The dinners will each have their own theme. In return for the host’s hospitality, couples are asked to make a minimum donation of $100 + to the CF Foundation, and all dinner proceeds will go toward CF research and quality care programs. After dinner, all dinner hosts and guests are invited to a complimentary dessert celebration with entertainment, dancing, coffee and delightful desserts donated by some of the metro area’s finest caterers and restaurants. It will be a lavish affair where all the themed parties get together! Guests will be invited to bid in the silent auction which will have wonderful items ranging from gift certificates, original art to fine jewelry.
