Welcome to the Metropolitan Washington, DC Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The month of May was filled with Great Strides enthusiasm and teamwork. Our Metro DC Chapter delivered 12 Great Strides sites all around the Metropolitan area. Our first destination was Washington DC on the evening of May 7th .  Numerous companies and families came out to the DC headquarters of Pillsbury, Winthrop and Shaw Pittman law firm to join in the 3 mile walk and roof top after party! Our Great Strides campaign continued in Bethesda, MD on the evening of May 14th and set the bar high for the rest of our walks.  Walkers from all of Bethesda headed down the Capital Crescent trail in support of the CF Foundation and Great Strides.  When walkers returned, live music and festivities greeted them in the center of downtown Bethesda.

Our big Great Strides weekend was just around the corner with nine different walks spread out across Maryland and Virginia on May 17th and 18th. The whole Metro DC team along with our dedicated volunteers and teams of walkers came out to show their tremendous support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the support for the continued search for a cure. A sincere thank you to everyone that participated in Great Strides we could not have done it without you!
