Dear Friends of Brewer's Ball,
We look forward to sharing this exciting evening with you this year at the 7th Annual Brewer's Ball!  We aim to provide the best experience possible.

Please purchase tickets by March 10th.  NO hard copy tickets will be issued and reservations are made at the door.  Please click on the purchase button to buy your tickets now
or call 301-657-8444.

Please provide the name of your guests if you are purchasing more than one ticket or email Laura Starr at
lstarr@cff.org to help expedite registration.

All guests must be 21 yeas of age or older and ID will be required, per Nationals Park policy.  Please do not forget to bring identification.

The evening begins at 7pm and the tasting stations and auction areas will remain open throughout the evening (with the exception of the duration of the program beginning at 9pm).  The event concludes at midnight.

Please enter and exit through Center Field gate.  The closest Metro Station is Navy Yards and transportation will be available at the end of the evening.  Free parking is also available in Lot C (at your own risk).

Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.  The Capitol Skyline Hotel nearby is offering a special rate for guests who call and mention Brewer's Ball or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Thank you for your support and helping us to serve up hope...one pint at a time...

The exciting and unique Brewer's Ball, presented by Raymond James and Shepard Exposition Services, is back for its seventh year!  A must-attend increasingly popular annual tradition, this event offers guests the opportunity to sample a variety of handcrafted microbrews from more than a dozen of the region's best microbreweries, while also enjoying the cuisine of several popular restaurants.  The event will also feature live entertainment, upbeat tunes and a memorable live and silent auction.

Net proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and our mission to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those living with the disease.  For more information, contact Laura Starr, Development Manager, at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Chapter at 301-657-8444 or via email at
lstarr@cff.org.

"Brewer's Ball, from my experience of covering the event in both 2009 and 2010, is one of the best run, and most fun in D.C. Combining a fantastic atmosphere, great cause, beautiful settings, and terrific organizers, Brewer's Ball is a joy to cover...and having some of the best brews around is another plus!"

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis (CF), individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia) complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. For alternative ways to participate and for information about this policy, please contact the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF or visitwww.cff.org
. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
