| THIS EVENT WAS SOLD OUT IN 2012 |
Thank you for your support and generosity at this year's D.C. Brewer's Ball to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We truly hope that you and your guests enjoyed the evening.
While we hope you enjoyed helping to serve up hope, one pint at a time, we want you to know that your contributions go a long way in the game-changing research that takes place in the CF medical community and in the lives of the 30,000 children and adults that live with this horrific disease.
Through our efforts, the life expectancy of a child with CF has doubled in the last 30 years, and research to find a cure is more promising now, than ever. It is through your generosity for events like the D.C. Brewer's Ball, where we raised more than $275,000 this year, that we are able to continue our mission to find that cure.
For information on how to get involved, please contact, Laura Starr, Development Director at (301) 657-8444 x 201 or email lstarr@cff.org

| Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis (CF), individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia) complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. For alternative ways to participate and for information about this policy, please contact the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF or visitwww.cff.org. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions. |
