2nd Annual Aptalis Cycle for Life – Let’s Roll Over CF!
September 21, 2013
Brackett’s Crossing Lakeville, MN |

About the Event:
Add this event to your calendar to help us in adding tomorrows for those fighting cystic fibrosis. The 2nd Annual Minnesota Aptalis Cycle for Life event is taking place on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Join the CF Cycle for Life as an individual or create a team of co-workers, friends or family members and make a difference. Together we will reach our goal of $71,500!
We will be returning to Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville for our event start and finish festivities. You will ride through some of the most scenic terrain in the Lakeville area. Choose from two routes: a 25-30 mile course perfect for any skill level, or the 65-mile route for more of a challenge. The event also features well-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike mechanics along the route, support vehicles, ride marshals, meals and much more!
Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis Cycle for Life ®. Bike helmets are required to ride.
For more information, please contact Chuck Richards at 651-631-3290 or crichards@cff.org

Minimum Pledge: $200
Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum amount is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn a jersey or other cycle rewards. The average amount a participant raises is $650. Registration fees are non refundable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Fundraising is 100% tax deductible. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.
TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
