The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in collaboration with Zephyr Grill and Bar, is proud to announce the Second Annual Wine for a Cure to take place on Sunday, October 25th, 2009. The night will showcase wines from the Livermore Valley and will be paired with culinary dishes from a special menu created by Head Chef Nick Musser. We are pleased to have Picazo Vineyards as our premier winery, pouring during our VIP reception. Steven Kent and La Rochelle wineries will be featured during the main event, along with other spectacular Livermore Valley wineries. The Wine for a Cure event will raise money to provide funds for the research necessary to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a fatal, genetic disease that affects over 30,000 children and young adults in the United States. There are dozens of families here in the East Bay whom are dealing with this disease as well. We have lost several of our residents to cystic fibrosis, and we are looking to our community to help us find a cure before we lose any more of our children.
Online ticket sales have sold out; please purchase your tickets at the door.
