How to Get Your Wheels In Motion:

Join the CF Cycle For Life. Cycle with a team of co-workers, friends or family members and make a difference!

Registration Fees:
4/1/2012 - 4/30/2012: $25
5/1/2012 - 7/31/2012: $35

The minimum pledge requirement is $200 for all cyclists. Registration fees do not count toward the fundraising minimum and are non-refundable. The $200 fundraising minimum is due on or before October 13, 2012. Turn in your fundraising minimum on or before October 13, 2012 to receive a long-sleeved official event t-shirt. Raise more money to earn an official event jersey and other great prizes!

Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.

If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

DIRECTIONS:
FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY: Garden State Parkway to exit 105, follow Route 36 East. Make a left onto Cooper Ave.; head halfway around the circle, continuing straight and make a right onto McKinley Street. The parking lot will be on your left side. As a landmark, look for the Ocean Place Resort & Spa.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.

Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
