Join us for a day of golf, food and fun at Fairlawn Country Club as we raise money for CF and celebrate the life of Leo J. Jacob. The tournament day starts with a continental breakfast and a morning round of golf. A box lunch is provided while golfers gear up for round two in the afternoon. To finish out the day, a fantastic dinner, cocktails, and live and silent auctions are included.

Leo J. Jacob, who battled cystic fibrosis his entire life, was an avid golfer and strong advocate for the CF cause. He lived his life to the fullest and was always challenging himself and others to “Go the Distance.”

Leo lost his battle to cystic fibrosis in May of 2004, but the fight to win the war against CF lives on through this event and many others across our nation. The classic is a 36-hole event as a testimony to the courage and the extraordinary effort that Leo gave during every day of his life.

David Griech, an adult with CF, founded this day of golf and awareness in 2002. Formerly known as the CF Open, this day was inspired by a marathon day of golf in in which David participated in 2001. He played 61 holes that day and was motivated to share his incredible experience with others in the years ahead.
