About the Event:
The inaugural CF Cycle for Life is a one-day ride along the Towpath Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Participants will have several scenic route options (to enjoy the fall foliage) ranging from 26 or 40 miles; or an optional 100K (metric century - 62 miles) -- and cycle at their own pace.This unique charity ride begins and ends in Peninsula, and empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure against cystic fibrosis in a tangible, emotional and experientially powerful way. A registration fee and minimum fundraising commitment are required to participate.
The ride is a fully supported journey with well-stocked rest stops, support and gear (SAG) vehicles, GREAT prizes and much more - followed by a post-ride celebration, at the Winking Lizard Tavern! Training rides and fundraising clinics will be offered throughout the summer -- to make this a fun, worthwhile experience.

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®.
Bike helmets are required to ride.
Due to the terrain, we encourage and recommend that our cyclists ride a recreational, mountain, hybrid or cross bike. Road cycles can be ridden on the trail, but are not ideal. Please visit your nearest Century Cycles location for a FREE BIKE SAFETY INSPECTION!

How to Get Your Wheels In Motion:
Register today as a Cycle Team Leader or Individual Cyclist!To register as a cyclist, click on the registration tab on the right side of the page.
CF Cycle for Life is a pledge event. In addition to the registration fee we require all cyclists to raise a minimum fundraising amount ($175.00) to participate in the ride.
Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards your fundraising total. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.
If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.
TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.
For everyone's safety, Cycle for Life participants must follow all applicable rules and regulations. Before setting out on the ride please read and familiarize yourself with the Cycle for Life Rules of the road in the cycle guide.
