4th Annual Portland Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge

On Sunday, September 23rd  Firefighters from around the country, and beyond,  will take to the stairs to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Oregon Chapter.  The 4th Annual Portland Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge: Climb for the Cure will attract firefighters from across the country, and even from other nations, to compete in this unique challenge. Participants of will face the challenge of racing up the US Bancorp Tower, in downtown Portland, in full combat gear.

Climbers will race up 40 floors to the finish line and join their family and friends afterwards at the “Survivor Party” to celebrate their accomplishments. The party will include food and beverages, entertainment, chair massages and the award ceremony. Not only will there be a competition for the fastest times- but for the highest fundraising amount! Registration begins April 2, 2012!
