The Aken Family Has Great Success in GREAT STRIDES 2009!

Since the diagnosis of their daughter Ashley in 1997, the Aken family has been active participants with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.   They have had great success with GREAT STRIDES fundraising over the years.  Their success shows that persistence pays off; they have grown their walk team from 5 to 55 and the team raised almost $13,000 in 2009!  They are overwhelmed every year by the amount of support, financial and emotional, by friends, family and even strangers.  

The Aken family devotes so much of their time and effort into the CFF in hopes that one day “CF” will stand for “Cure Found” for Ashley and all others with cf. We are very proud and grateful of all of their hard work and dedication.  Thank you Aken family!
