The Rochester Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) supports 200 CF patients and their families in the 9 surrounding counties of Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Genesee, Steuben, Livingston, Yates, Wyoming and Chemung.

Our mission is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.

We rely heavily on a volunteer base (our people pipeline) to support the planning and execution of numerous special events to raise funds to fight this life shortening disease. With the work of these wonderful people we will be able to provide over $400,000 this year alone to the dedicated CF research team to develop cutting edge therapies and ultimately find a cure. As an ‘orphan disease’ (only 30,000 people have CF in the US), we raise all the money for the research pipeline. Since 1950 we have increased the median life expectancy from less than 5 years old to slightly over 37 years of age (nationally). We are adding tomorrows every day.

Remember:

Money buys science

Science buys life
