About the Event:

Join us for our fourth annual cycling event as we ride some of the most scenic roads in Pinellas County! Choose our 30 mile route or our 62 mile metric century. This ride boasts of fully supported and well-stocked rest stops (with some of the most creative volunteers you've ever seen!), bike mechanics, ride marshalls and breakfast. Join us for our tail-ache party where lunch after the ride will be provided by BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Don't miss out on a great ride for a great cause!

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life^®. Bike helmets are required to ride.

Early Bird- Register before August 15, 2013 : $15.00
After August 15, 2013: $25.00

Pledge Minimum: $150

Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum amount is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn a jersey or other cycle rewards. The average amount a participant raises is $650. Registration fees are non refundable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Fundraising is 100% tax deductable. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.

Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
