About the Event:

Join us for our second annual bike tour through the flat and rolling roads of Waller County. You have a choice of two mileage options: 30 miles or 62 miles. Cycle at your own pace. Once you cross the finish line, enjoy lunch and entertainment at the Post Ride Party on the beautiful grounds of Houston Oaks Country Club and Family Sports Retreat.

The CF Cycle for Life is fully supported with well-stocked rest stops, bike mechanics, ride marshals, breakfast, lunch and so much more.

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life^®.

Join the CF Cycle for Life. Cycle with a team of co-workers, friends or famil y members and make a difference.

Registration Fees:
3/1/2012 - 8/2/2012: $25
8/3/2012 - 10/26/2012: $40
10/28/2012: $50

Minimum Pledge Requirement: $150

Turn in your $150 fundraising minimum on or before October 28, 2012 to earn a long-sleeved official event t-shirt. Raise more money for a chance to earn an official event jersey and other great prizes!

Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.

If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.

Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
