About the Event:
Join us for our second annual bike tour in North Bossier Parish. Ride through some of the most scenic landscapes in North Louisiana. The route will start and end at The Bossier Parish Courthouse where you will enjoy a family friendly after party.
Sign in / Registration begins at 7:00am
Ride begins at 8:00am
Your registration fee includes training rides, commemorative long sleeved t-shirt and a one of a kind experience! Raise $750 or more and you receive the 2012 CF Cycle for Life cycling jersey. We require cyclists to raise a minimum of $150 to participate. You will be making a difference by helping the Cystic Fibrosis fund vital research and therapies for those affected by CF.
Participants 18 and older are welcome to participate. Those under the age of 18 are welcome to cheer on their favorite rider. Bike helmets are required to ride.

Register to Ride:
Click on the "Register" button in the upper right hand corner to register for the CF Cycle For Life in Shreveport/Bossier!
Registration fees and dates are as follows:
Early Registration through September 2: $15
Regular Registration September 3-14: $25
Day of Event Registration September 15: $35
Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.
If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.
TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death. Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
