About the Event:

CF Cycle for Life – Northern Utah’s most scenic autumn ride. Three lengths; a 30 mile, Metric Century (65 miles) or Century(100 miles) offer a great time and healthy challenge for all riders. This fully supported ride has all the support and rest stops you’ll need for a worry free ride. Lunch and a finish line celebration will finish off the day and make this a ride you won’t forget. With your help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is able to fund vital research and therapies for those affected by CF.

We require cyclists to raise a minimum of $150 to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle for Life®. Each participant receives an official 2012 CF Cycle for Life event shirt and riders who raise $500 or more receive the official CF Cycle for Life Jersey!

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®. Bike helmets are required to ride.

How to Get Your Wheels In Motion:

Registration Dates and Fees are as follows:

Early Registration: Now- June 30th: $15
Regular Registration: July 1st - September 14th : $25
Late Registration: September 15th -September 29th: $35

Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.

If your minimum pledge requirement has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.

TIP - When registering you will be asked to state your fundraising goal (which you can change later). You may select any of the amounts from the pull down menu that are ABOVE the ride's minimum fundraising goal. If the minimum fundraising goal is not an option in the pull down menu, you will need to select the shaded block that is immediately above the minimum amount - and then type in any other amount above the minimum.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.

Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
