The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is thrilled to announce the First Annual Foundation’s Finest. Each year, the CF Foundation will honor 20 Richmond-area young professionals as they use their talent, compassion, and leadership qualities to further the mission of the CF Foundation: to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. These 20 candidates will embark on a 12-week fundraising blitz in their quest to be THE FINEST! Candidates will use their talents, charm, and moxie to raise funds. Some will plan events of their own (look for Karaoke contests, kickball tournaments, and maybe even a toga party or two) and others will raise money through letter writing campaigns, corporate sponsorships, or raffles and other activities.

The chosen candidate’s campaigns begin with a kick-off reception on Friday, September 24th that formally introduces the 2010 Foundation’s Finest candidates, and will culminate as we gather at a spectacular party on December 4th, 2010 to honor the candidates for their outstanding contributions to our community, as well as their fundraising successes. At the end of the evening, we announce a winner and deem him or her the Foundation's Finest.

Candidates will be showcased on our Web site and their events will be promoted throughout the community. As part of their recognition, each candidate agrees to raise a minimum of $2,500 on behalf of CFF. The Foundation’s Finest is an experience filled with excitement, competition, and best of all, goodwill!
