Thank you all so much for supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through your participation in a Great Strides walk.  Attached is the first newsletter of the year.  Please take a moment to read it as it contains important dates and upcoming events.  We’d be honored to have you back in 2009.  To show our appreciation for your renewed efforts, we are giving away TWO ROUND-TRIP airline tickets.  If you have not already done so, visit http://greatstrides.cff.org to register for a walk today.  From your personal fundraising page, send an email to all your friends and family letting them know that you are raising funds to find a cure for CF. Watch the donations come in.  As soon as you have raised $200, your name will be entered in a drawing taking place on April 2nd.  The contest will continue through midnight on April 1. 

But wait!  There’s more!  For EACH additional $200 you raise between now and April 1, you get another chance.  For example, a walker who has raised $600 by April 1 gets their name in the bucket three times; a walker raising $1,000 gets FIVE chances.

Use the two tickets as you like.  Hit the beaches of Mexico.  Watch the sunset in San Francisco.  Visit your Aunt in Des Moines.  Snorkel in the Caribbean.  Take a hike in Colorado.  Have an ocean-side drink in the Bahamas.  Visit the Pencil Sharpener Museum in Carbon Hill, OH.  You choose.  Register to walk!  Send an email!  Start planning your vacation! 

Small print:  Airline tickets have been donated by American Airlines. Travel valid to US48, Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada or Mexico. All travel must be completed by 9/27/2009.  All donations received by CFF from January 6th  through midnight, April 1 are counted.  Online donations and donations mailed to 2727 Enterprise Pkwy, Suite 104, Richmond, VA 23294 and received by April 1 are counted.  Winners will be notified by phone and/or email.  Please direct questions to Amy at amccracken@cff.org or 804-527-1500.
