HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO FOR A CURE?

The Virginia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is proud to present the Inaugural XTREME HIKE FOR A CURE. The festivities begin Friday afternoon, September 27 with check-in and dinner, continue Saturday with at 31 mile XTREME HIKE in the Shenandoah Valley, and conclude on Sunday morning with a celebratory breakfast.

Xtreme Hike is about reaching new heights – physically and philanthropically. It is a journey of passion, determination and personal triumph, as much as it is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with cystic fibrosis.
The journey starts the moment you sign up. You’ll receive personal coaching, participate in training hikes and connect with a community of athletes who share your aspiration to reach new heights.

WHY HIKE
By participating in Xtreme Hike, you’ll support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to help develop new treatments and find a cure for this disease. Cystic fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. More than 10 million Americans are carriers of the defective CF gene.
