About the Event:

Ride, Taste and Savor the best that Seattle and our unique wine country has to offer!

Join us for the 3rd Annual Aptalis CF Cycle For Life® event as we ride through scenic Seattle and Woodinville's wine country. Cyclists will have two mileage options (20 or 65 miles) to cycle at leisure. The Aptalis CF Cycle For Life® event is fully supported with rest stops, bike mechanics from Woodinville Bicycle and Dick's Sporting Goods, ride marshals, meals and so much more!

7:00am -- 65-mile Check-In Begins
8:00am -- Official 65-mile Start
11:00am -- 20-mile Check-In Begins
12:00pm -- Official 20-mile Start

Participants will also enjoy a special wine-tasting after-party hosted at Columbia Winery!

Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in the Aptalis CF Cycle For Life®.

Bike helmets are required to ride.

Registration & Fund-Raising Information

Registration fees do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Encourage a minimum of four colleagues, friends and family members to join you during this annual event. Minimum Pledge Requirement of $200, must be turned in on or before July 29, 2012.

If your minimum pledge requirement ($200) has not been met, you will have the option of providing a credit card or cash on event day. You will have one month after the event to submit the remaining balance before your credit card is charged.

Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your Minimum Pledge Requirement is tax deductible and must be turned in on or before event date.

Because of risks to people with cystic fibrosis, individuals with a confirmed positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex shall not attend this event. This is because B. cepacia can be passed between individuals who have CF through close proximity. B. cepacia infection in a person with CF can cause serious respiratory illness and, in some patients, may lead to death.

Despite this policy, there might still be some individuals with B. cepacia in attendance. B. cepacia is not a risk for otherwise healthy individuals. Learn more about alternative ways in which a person with B. cepacia can participate, or call the CF Foundation at (800) FIGHT-CF. Consult your CF care center physician with medical questions.
