About the Event:
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is proud to announce its 20th anniversary of “going vertical” to defeat cystic fibrosis (CF). Climb for a Cure will be held on Thursday, November 19th, 2009 at the US Bank Building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Once you reach the top, enjoy amazing panoramic views of Downtown Milwaukee before heading down to our post-climb celebration complete with food, drinks, entertainment, and awards! |
Participant Categories:
Participants may choose to register in the following categories:
Individual walker – Individual climbs 47 floors, un-timed
Individual racer – Individual climbs 47 floors, timed
Relay team – 3 individuals climb 1/3 of the way up tagging off in relay fashion, timed
Combined team – 3 individuals climb 47 floors each, timed
Fire/Police Combined team – 3 individuals climb 47 floors
each wearing full gear, timed

Fundraising Minimum:
This is a pledge-based event with each participant raising a minimum of $50 in pledges to participate. Please click FUNDRAISING TIPS for ideas on how to raise funds or contact Julie at (262) 798-2060 or jbrzostowicz@cff.org for further assistance. You may make a pledge to an individual or team through their fundraising web page, or click on the DONATE button to make a general donation to the climb.
Net proceeds from this event will go toward CF research, care and education programs. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been recognized as one of the most efficient organizations of its kind. SmartMoney, the magazine of The Wall Street Journal, has recognized the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as “a charity that won’t waste your money.” It has also received a four-star rating for sound fiscal management from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States, and is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance.
We will not rest until we find a cure.
