STUDY BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This study will enroll adults with CF for a 6 month period. The study will have a group of subjects that participate in the early identification and treatment program for pulmonary exacerbations. This group will perform home spirometry and have a home-based telemonitoring system connected to their phone line. They will answer questions regarding their health via the telemonitor. Based upon home monitoring results the research staff will evaluate the subject for exacerbation to determine if treatment is necessary.
