STUDY BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This study will look at the effect of taking a probiotic on gastrointestinal and lung symptoms. One group of children with CF will take a probiotic and another a placebo. Comparisons will be made on the bacteria found in stools, number of lung infections, and number of hospitalization and abdominal pain episodes.
