STUDY BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The aim of this project is to find out how useful breath glucose is as a measure of CF lung disease. This study is based upon the finding that glucose levels in the breath of CF patients is raised compared to healthy subjects. The study hopes to show that breath glucose is raised because of lung disease and not other problems found in people with CF.
