The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation needs your assistance in recruiting more representatives to join its new Congressional Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. The caucus is co-chaired by two friends of the CF Foundation and champions for the CF community: Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.).
The Congressional CF Caucus will serve as a forum for educating members of Congress about the disease and spurring action on pertinent pieces of legislation beneficial to the CF community. The mission of the CF Caucus is to support cystic fibrosis research funding; advocate for newborn screening; increase CF awareness and education; and promote public policies that address the research and health care needs of the CF community.
Please see the current list of 101 caucus members and learn how you can help to recruit more representatives to the caucus and make a difference for the CF community.
