New Information Available About Health Coverage & Income Assistance

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation launched a new “Patient Assistance Programs” section of its Web site with information about programs that help people with CF afford the medical care they need.

People with CF, their families, and health care providers can learn about public health coverage and income assistance programs in their state by using the site’s Assistance Programs map. Information on nationwide government programs, the CF Legal Information Hotline and Cystic Fibrosis Services can also be found in the updated section.

The Web site is a great starting point to learn about assistance programs, but a CF Foundation-accredited care center is still the best resource for current information.
