Wawa first became involved in raising funds to support the Foundation’s mission through the Delaware Valley Chapter’s Stair Climb event more than two decades ago, and has been a dedicated corporate partner ever since.
In 2008, Wawa began a new initiative to help increase awareness of the Foundation across the mid-Atlantic region. Each February, Wawa imprints their coffee sleeves with information about cystic fibrosis. The month-long awareness effort averages 5 million impressions each year.
Wawa is headquartered in Wawa, Pennsylvania and currently operates a chain of more than 570 convenience stores in a five-state area, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
