Create Your Own Event

Some student groups have developed their own Kick CF events, such as bake sales and car washes to raise funds. These events are great on their own or as a supplement to larger events.

What kinds of activities are popular on your campus? Get creative and get everyone involved in the fight against CF!

Below are some ideas for other community fundraising events:

Tried and true fundraisers are used often for one main reason – they work! Traditional fundraising ideas include:

• Bake Sale
• Golf Event
• Thons (dance-a-thon, bowl-a-thon)
• Car Wash
• Concession Stand
• Flower Sale
• Pancake Breakfast

Then again, the more unique your event, the better! Creative fundraising ideas include:

• Eating Contest
• Karaoke Night
• Board Game Tournament
• Trivia Night
• Polar Bear Plunge
• Chili Cook-off
• Pig Roast and Luau
• Holiday Cookie Bake-off/Ugly Sweater Contes
• Mall Coat Check (during busy holiday season in November and December)
