Attendance Information for People with Cystic Fibrosis

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation welcomes you to its annual GREAT STRIDES walk-a-thon to raise money for CF research and care. Because of health risks to people with CF, it is the policy of the CF Foundation that individuals with CF who have had a positive sputum culture for Burkholderia cepacia complex (B. cepacia) shall not attend events sponsored by the CF Foundation.

Hero Story - Garberg Force
Just a couple months before GREAT STRIDES, Chris and Kristen Garberg were informed that two of their three sons had cystic fibrosis. While this news was still fresh in their minds, and armed with determination, they contacted the Southern California Chapter and learned of a GREAT STRIDES walk close to their home. Within a matter of weeks, The Garberg Force was formed. Their mission was to rid the universe of CF.
