The staff at Niagara university has been so helpful even when Graduation is the same day! thank you for all of your support! Please pass this along to the other departments please! NU is a wonderful college!

Laura has been in the Lockport paper and will be in the Buffalo paper as well asking for help. If you know of any business that are willing to help or family and friends please think about it we are so very close!!!!

She hopes to have the Wilson 's walk site and her team noticed this year! She is working so very hard!

We want you all to know that Laura is now Sweet 16!! What a mile stone for a child with CF! That is a mile stone age not only for many teens but a huge one for CF patients like her. Right now the median age life expectancy is 36 years old, which means she is am almost ½ way through her life. When she was diagnosed she wasn't expected to live past five years old. I know that she is a gift. Laura tries to give back to anyone whenever she can. She belong to the Key Club at the Lockport High School and the Teen Leader's Club at the YMCA. Together she has logged in over 1,100 community hours in 4 ½ years. The President of the United States has awarded her two golden awards for her hours of community service.

Laura will be walking for a cure again this year. Laura as many of you know has Cystic Fibrosis and until there is a cure, she will most likely die from this. Laura was not expected to live, but due to our strong faith and an excellent team right here in Buffalo she is still with us touching the lives of everyone she meets.

Laura gives so much of herself how about if we give back to her? This year's walk is extra special for her! While in the hospital Laura saw how CF changes lives and she wants to be a positive part of that life change!

This Picture that you see is from last year's walk and we were clowing around for a cause!! Right now we have been making many trips back and forth to childrends. she has been in a lot of pain for months now and they are tring to find out why. Please think about her this Thursday, we are back up to childrens hospital. While we are up thee we are going to stop in and say hi to one of our fellow Cf walkers, She has been up at children's for over 10 days now and hopes to be released Friday!!

Laura and many other kids like her have CF and are breaking new ground for themselves. They are no longer taking the word "no" for an answer. They simply reply; "Yes I can, just watch me!" Let's help her and others like her out by donating towards their walk, and then together we can "Just watch them grow!"

GREAT STRIDES is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fund-raising event.
