David, Tyler, Tiffany and I have committed to GREAT STRIDES 2008, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual, nationwide walk to cure cystic fibrosis (CF). We are writing to ask for your help and enlist your support.

CF is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems. People with CF suffer from chronic and often fatal lung infections and have difficulty digesting food. Ten million Americans are symptom-less carriers of the defective gene, which causes CF. Although recent developed therapies have made a difference in treating the symptoms of CF, it is simply not enough. We continue to lose at least one precious life to CF every day.

As most of you know, Tyler was diagnosed with CF shortly after birth. Thanks to enzymes and daily therapy, he is doing well! The CF foundation has been a driving force behind new therapies and medications to assist those living with CF like Tyler.

We will be walking on May 3, 2009 in Bradley Beach NJ - At the Boardwalk with a large group of family and friends. This will be our 4th year walking as a team TNT. Last year team TNT was able to raise $4,000! This year collectively, we would like to raise more than $6,000 for vital CF research. Making a donation is easy and secure!
