Bob Dallari - Seminole County Commissioner |
As a Seminole County Commissioner, Bob Dallari is dedicated to promoting community well being and works tirelessly to serve as an ambassador for the county he represents. As a dedicated volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, his commitment and fundraising efforts exemplify the highest standards of community service.
Since Bob became involved with foundation in fall of 2005, he has raised over $240,000! In 2006, as Corporate Chair of the inaugural Sanford GREAT STRIDES walk, Bob secured many local sponsors and generated lots of community support. Due to the incredible success of this new walk, he was awarded the 2006 GREAT STRIDES Rookie of the Year Award. In March of 2007, Ann Palmer, Senior Vice President of Field Management presented this award to Bob at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation National Leadership Conference in Bethesda, MD.
After winning the award, Bob’s determination to fight CF increased and he became an even greater advocate for the CF Foundation. Through his commitment to educate others on the affects of CF, he succeeded in energizing corporate and family teams, renewing and obtaining new sponsors and spreading his enthusiasm throughout the community. As a result, more than 400 participants attended the 2007 Sanford GREAT STRIDES walk and more than $150,000 was raised, nearly doubling the total from the previous year! Bob’s goal for 2008 is to raise over $200,000! Bob hopes you will join him to help reach this goal!
