I am a volunteer bachelorette in the Guys and Dolls Auction Gala benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on February 20, 2010 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Guys & Dolls, now in its tenth year, features Charlotte’s most eligible men and women who agree to promote themselves along with an exciting date package for auction to the highest bidder. The theme of my date package is “Boating with the Bachelorette”.

The Guys and Dolls auction is one of the premier non-profit events in Charlotte, with an expected attendance of over 600. 2009’s event raised more than $139,000 and with your help, we will reach our goal of $155,000 in 2010.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind with nearly 90 cents of every dollar donated invested in vital research and patient care. It has received a four-star rating for sound fiscal management from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States and is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance. The Foundation's business model has been recognized by the National Institutes of Health and by publications such as Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.
