Two years ago, I said that I'd only ever run 26.2 miles again if it were for a good charity. Well, I have taken on the crazy challenge of running another marathon to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
I would really appreciate your help in meeting my fund-raising goal. Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively—nearly 90 cents of every dollar raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care, and education.
Making a donation is easy and secure—just click the "Click to Donate" button on this page to make a donation that will be credited to my fund-raising efforts. ANY amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated!
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More than ten million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit www.cff.org.
I'm not much of a runner, and 26.2 miles is likely to take me a good five hours to run. But this cause is important. Every minute, I'll be thanking each one of you for supporting me.
