Care Centers
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accredits 115 CF care centers nationwide, including 94 adult care programs. In addition, 54 affiliate programs provide multi-disciplinary care for CF With Foundation support. Located at teaching and community hospitals across the country, care centers offer comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, care and counseling for those with CF.
Chapters
The CF Foundation has more than 70 chapters and branch offices across the country that organize and host a variety of special events to raise funds for vital CF programs. In addition, chapters work within their local communities to provide educational programs to educate the public about cystic fibrosis.
Research Centers
To expand research and bring talent from multiple disciplines to the CF research effort, the Foundation established the Research Development Program (RDP), a network of research centers. Today there are more than 10 research centers in the CF Foundation’s RDP engaged in projects to advance understanding of CF, develop new treatments and find a cure for this disease.
